OVERVIEW
It all started in 1999 with only two employees. We began our business by importing cosmetics and perfumes, as well as engaging in wholesale and retail trade in Tripoli, Libya. Today, we have built strong connections and earned the trust of over 1,000 clients across Libya. With 34 employees and a growing base of loyal customers, we have established 125 points of sale across the country. Our main branch, Rossetti, serves as the heart of our operations. By 2026, our goal is to expand further and reach 200 points of sale. Sama Al-Andalus was officially established in 2013. Since then, we have become the main distributors of well-known brands such as NOTE, MORIA, and MAKE UP FOR EVER. We chose these brands because they offer both affordability and high quality. Libyan women love using them, and there is a constant demand for these products. Considering this demand, as well as the efficiency of these brands in making every woman feel special, we strive to expand our offerings by collaborating with other international brands. Our goal is to become the leading distributor of beauty products both locally and regionally. We believe that self-care should not be a privilege but a normal part of everyday life. We are committed to providing luxury, comfort, and outstanding results to our clients—always. Sama Al-Andalus was founded at a time when beauty and self-care were not common industries in Tripoli. Most entrepreneurs focused on food and essential commodities. However, this did not deter us from stepping into the world of beauty and cosmetics. We started small, but with a vision to expand our market throughout Libya. Despite economic struggles and security challenges over the past twenty years, our continuous and sustainable efforts have allowed us to grow and thrive. We have never failed to deliver on our promises. We actively listen to both direct and indirect customer feedback, taking it seriously as one of the pillars of our success. Understanding and fulfilling the diverse needs of our customers has been key to winning their trust—not only in Tripoli but across various cities in Libya. HISTORICAL PROFILE AND EXPANSION
Our story goes back to twenty years ago, in 1999, when we started as a small wholesale distributor, primarily for cosmetics. This continued until 2003 when our first noticeable expansion took place. At that time, we began importing and selling perfumes as well. Our second expansion was in 2006, when we added hair dyes and electrical self-care devices to our product range. Over the next four years, we worked on becoming one of the very few trusted distributors in the city. We opened our newest branch back then, on Salah Addin Street in Tripoli. This was followed by the opening of our first retail store in Tripoli in 2012, which was another success that we are proud of. Although Sama Al-Andalus was officially established in 2013, this step allowed us to turn our business into an established company. It enabled us to move forward and further expand our client base. We opened another retail store for perfumes and makeup, again in Tripoli. In 2016, we became one of the official distributors of famous Turkish brands, including NOTE, Pastel, and Nee, and by then, we had gained the full trust of thousands of clients across our country. In 2019, we moved to a larger headquarters to efficiently manage our rapidly expanding business. Throughout the past 20 years, we have been able to stabilize our profits to a very decent degree, despite the unstable situation on the ground. This motivates us to work even harder under any conditions and be one of the reliable escapes for our clients. We advocate self-care as a daily routine, not a privilege

We are privileged to have the best customer service team, as well as the best salespeople. We understood early on that if we wanted to go far and sustain growth, we needed to go together and grow as a team. We have managed to continuously motivate our employees through training and workshops. We plan to always be the number one motivator and supporter for our staff. As part of our expansion plans, we are targeting an annual growth rate of up to 30%. Such a target can only be met by sustainably developing our services and listening to our clients. We are also very eager to always be out there and share our expertise with our customers. We have held several large events for beauty and lifestyle bloggers and makeup artists, which have received immense praise from the attendees. Additionally, we always seek to present ourselves online through our social media accounts because we understand the importance of marketing, both online and offline. We believe it is one of the key factors for our success

We have always sought to cooperate with powerful entities in Libya and have been honored to hold partnerships with several beauty salons as well as drugstores in the capital. Our cooperation has enabled us to connect with our loyal clients, and we look forward to expanding it further. At the forefront of our partnerships is the importing of the following brands: MAKE UP FOR EVER, a French cosmetics brand owned by LVMH, established in 1984. It is one of the most highly demanded brands worldwide and has gained the trust of thousands of makeup artists and customers across the globe for years. MOIRA Cosmetics, a cruelty-free and vegan beauty brand based in Los Angeles. Known for its high-quality products, it offers a range of makeup, including foundations, eyeshadows, and lipsticks. The brand emphasizes simplicity, empowering individuals to express their unique style. MOIRA has a global presence and is active on social media. NOTE Cosmetics, founded in 2014 in Turkey, offers affordable, high-quality makeup for all skin tones. The brand is cruelty-free, paraben-free, and focuses on natural ingredients. It has a global presence in over 50 countries
